Cecilia Heikkilä

Cecilia Heikkilä is a Sweden based artist who as a nine year old started to illustrate her own copy of Alice in Wonderland. With a red wax chalk, the story was joined by scattered illLue lisääustrations that were squeezed into margins and text gaps throughout the book.

Cecilia has since held a number of assignments as an illustrator and designer for most Swedish book publishers. Among the clients are also companies such as IKEA and Fjällräven, for which she has designed a limited edition of the cult-backpack Kånken. Cecilia Heikkilä is one of two illustrators behind the new picture books about Mumin.
